Software Developer Intern

Intern / Student, Full-time · Munich

About us
Preisenergie develops Pricing Software for energy vendors. We help our customers meeting growth targets by calculating attractive prices for loyal customers.
We are a small and diverse team. Our office is located downtown Munich. Our motivation is to make the energy transition fair for everyone. We grow quickly and celebrate with cake rather than with champagne.
About the job
Your main tasks will be to develop and implement new features, both in backend and frontend, and help with preparing our application and software architecture for future growth, more flexible design and stability. Currently, we combine R, Python, node.js with docker and AWS, among others.
As with every startup, though, you will also participate in shaping the core product and help out with other tasks. We believe that great products can only be shipped in a team effort, but we expect everyone to make decisions on their own for their domain of expertise.
About you
We are looking for someone who is eager to build great analytics software with us and who wants to gain practical experience in data science. We don’t want you to be a rock star, a ninja, or a superhero, but to have written software beyond classroom assignments and have first experience with web technologies.
Rather than having a long list of languages, we are looking for someone who is motivated to learn new things as they come along.
Why Preisenergie?
  • Make energy consumption more sustainable
  • Works closely with an experienced and diverse team (MIT, HEC, CDTM, Simon-Kucher)
  • Work in a great office in the best startup location of Munich (WERK1) with table tennis, tabletop football and free coffee
  • Learn about data science
